(Revised May 9, 2004)
  • Fantastic conditions for the IC Nationals in Hyannis.
  • Back after a lengthy delay, with pictures from the final day of racing, Spring 9.
  • Notice a schedule change for March 6 & 7. Practice and tuning on Saturday; fleet racing as part of spring series on Sunday. Be there!
  • Finally! February 29th found us back on the water for Spring 6.
  • Folks took a break from frustration and headed north for some ski action.
  • Spring 5 saw 8 bods on the line for fleet bowling.
  • Breaking news & photos from the IC midwinters in Annapolis.
  • Patriots 32, Panthers 29. Plus Spring 3 hockey action.
  • With three fleets on the line, Spring 2 saw some exciting action.
  • Oddly enough, Fall 8 and Spring 1 looked much alike, except for the rotten hockey conditions. Read up on Great Hut Escape II.
  • The day for Fall 8 came and the Race Committee played hookey. Oops, no! Correction: the Race Committee played hockey.
  • Fall 7 was held in weather more appropriate to November than to January. Eleven ICs came for the party but first did the racing.
  • The Broo Bowl was held in gorgeous sunny weather with terrific winds. Five boats came for one heck of a good day of sailing.
  • Fall 6 was held in truly gorgeous fall-like conditions. We needed (deserved?) a breather like this!
  • December 21. Ten boats arrived, ready to really sail. Good racing for Fall 5.
  • December 14. Four boats gave it the ol' Cottage try, hauling down to Duxbury for an afternoon of, umm, frostbiting as Part I of the Mass Bay Regatta.
  • December 7th, 8th: no sailing; no bowling; lots of shoveling during and after badly timed nor'easter.
  • Food Pantry Regatta on Sunday December 7th. Bring a big bag of non-perishable food as your entry fee. Scored as Fall 4.
  • Dues were due. Hope you contacted Andy by December 1st.
  • No word of bowling on Saturday but on Sunday Nov 30, the turkeys Bowled while the wind howled.
  • November 23 gave us another gentle day of racing for Fall 2.
  • Note: right after urging you to check the schedule, the schedule changed again -- the Mass Bay Part I is on Dec 14th in Duxbury (not the 7th) because high tides on the 14th give them a bay full of water for the racing. Is this finally the final word? Maybe, but "It's not over until it's over".
  • November 16th. Extraordinary day, with lovely air, zephyrs, and team racing on tap.
  • Fall 1 serves up a great day on the water. Cold, yes, but that's what we're all about. Great racing and an unusual outcome.
  • Season lurches off to a start with the Christian Becker Trophy. Mild but fickle weather, good racing.
  • Check out the schedule and remember to sign up for RC and munchie patrol
Eternal notices:
  • You must park on the streets surrounding the club. Unless you are a CPYC member, do not even think about parking in the lot.
