(Revised April 28, 2003)
  • Season finishes with a flourish -- party, results, and awards.
  • Nationals... Nationals... Nationals.... Mass Bay takes 4 spots in the top 10; see local results; full results here or at the class website (differ in layout and commentary).
  • Eleven boats show up for Spring 9 in a sometimes downpour. Cold rain; warm spirits.
  • People with real lives miss a wonderful sailing day; it could have been Spring 8. Instead, those few who were seriously sailing-deprived after a long winter went out there and had a heck uvva good time anyway.
  • First real spring frostbite day; perfect post equinoctal racing for Spring 7.
  • A Scotch Mist for a foggy St. Pat's day in Scituate; Jimmy & Myrna win the day and bring home the lighthouse for the series as well.
  • Full story on the Marty Bowl weekend.
  • Spring 6, in the teeth of the March Lion.
  • With everyone else heading south, the hut made a break for it too. Don't miss Sue Hardy's coverage of the story on the CPYC website.
  • Wrap-up on the ski weekend.
  • Scores from the official Bowl 3, along with pictures from the harbor.
  • Small fleet whooped it up for Spring 4, while the rest were at the Midwinters.
  • Officially would have been Spring 3. Hard to say what happened. Last guy left standing wins the day.
  • Check your calendars. The IC Nationals are the weekend of April 5th and 6th, not the next weekend as previously claimed. Please take note of the revised schedule for the spring series; note the Saturday sailing on March 29th.
  • Spring 2 saw warm air and light breezes but 11 boats learned that slush is slow.
  • Frost in abundance but with spring zephyr breezes for Spring 1. Ten boats on the line.
  • "Brisk" conditions bring an end to the fall series.
  • New Year's Resolutions to Sail More brings 15 teams to the course for Fall 8. Tight racing in light winds.
  • Thirteen IC teams battle for the Broo Bowl! The trophy heads home to a new mantelpiece in a mild, gray day of racing.
  • Nine came for Fall 7. A classic perfect frostbite day.
  • Kyle Welch & Tim Fallon give team-race clinc. Too windy to team race. Fleet race Sunday.
  • Full retreat to the Pilot House. Rhodes 19s clear out. No bowling.
  • "Frostbite". The closest I've been to the real thing since my childhood in Canada. Mass Bay Part I was a windy one.
  • Turkey Bowl on Saturday; another bowling day on Sunday...
  • Another fine afternoon at the Pilot House; see results from Bowl 2.
  • By December 1, the treasurer will have his dues, q.v.
  • You missed capsize training? Tut, tut. Don't miss the report!
  • Coming -- Chandlery On Wheels, a van filled with line, cleats, rings, widgets etc. Cash, checks, credit cards. Contact Todd for more information.
  • First fall series race. Thirteen ICs in winds around 20. Hootin' hollerin' fun.
  • Opening Day was great -- gorgeous weather, fickle winds, interesting racing!
  • Check out the schedule and remember to sign up for RC and munchie patrol
