CPYC Youth Sailing
The Cottage Park Yacht Club Youth Sailing Program is available for members children age 8 (or entering 3rd Grade by Sept 2010) and up. Instruction continues throughout intermediate and advanced lessons. Each youth sailor will need a properly fitted Coast Guard Approved PFD (Personal Floatation Device), a positive attitude, and a willingness to listen, learn and smile! Club boats are available for lessons and regatta use by sailors in the YS Program.

Guaranteeing the continued success of our Youth Sailing Program means relying on volunteers beyond our Board of Directors, we need you! Parents, older siblings, aunts, uncles, grandparents and sailing enthusiasts are always welcome to mentor our sailors or help in various other aspects of the program. If you have some time to spare and a desire to put a genuine smile on a young sailors face, please feel free to contact any member of the board.
