18th Annual JFK REGATTA
ONE DESIGN RACE RESULTS
For Race 1 and 2 June 1st 2002

Overview
The 18th annual JFK Regatta for One Design boats took place in
Boston Harbor on Saturday, June 1st
in blustery conditions which presented a challenge and very exciting sailing to
all participants. The wind was
blowing 15 to 25 mph for the first race and increased in intensity during the
day. Fortunately, two races
|were able to be sailed by both the
Star and Laser Fleets. (The Thistle Fleet decided not to race. )
On Sunday, it looked like at least one race was going to be sailed. However,
all racing was called off when
the wind intensified significantly and
showed no signs of abating.
We wish to extend our thanks to
all One Design participants for helping to make the 18th JFK Regatta
a
resounding success.

Saturday are posted below for the Star and Laser Fleets.
